The Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction is an global framework adopted by the United Nations member states between in 2015 at the World Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction held in Sendai, Japan, and endorsed by the UN General Assembly in June 2015. It is the most encompassing international accord to date on disaster risk reduction.

The Sustainable Development Goals or Global Goals are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all”.

AGNES Africa. The AGNES was created in 2015 to provide scientific expertise and evidence to inform a common African position in climate change negotiations. The AGNES seeks to facilitate the exchange of ideas between experts and negotiators at the international level especially within the framework of the UNFCCC.
